It was great contributing with fellow members of the B20 Employment Taskforce and connecting with other B20 taskforce members at the first 2016 B20 Joint Taskforce Meeting conducted by B20 China at the IMF headquarters in Washington, DC, on April 16-17. We are working towards the 2016 G20 Leaders Summit and the B20 Summit to be held in beautiful Hangzhou, China, in September.

Hangzhou is where the globally renowned Jack Ma‘s Alibaba and Zong Qinghou‘s Wahaha Group, China’s largest beverage producer, are headquartered. Mr. Ma (no blood relation with yours truly today but who knows five hundred years ago :-)) chairs the 2016 B20 SME Development Taskforce. We are privileged to receive Mr. Zong as a new fellow member of the B20 Employment Taskforce. (An honor to be with Mr. Zong at the 2011 Forbes Global CEO Conference.) Both pinnacle leaders are on the global Forbes List.

It was also interesting connecting and learning as a by-invitation Guest to the 2016 International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group (WBG) Spring Meetings at the IMF and WBG headquarters on April 15-16.

If you want to learn more about the G20 and the B20, including a summary of how we at the B20 Employment Taskforce influence the G20 and the world, and why it matters, please view my earlier post here.
